Luke Walker is a filmmaker, audiovisual artist, writer and musician from London. 

He is currently working on:

~ Into The Mystic, an independent feature film based on The Book of Margery Kempe with Mirabelle Dominé-Walley, supported by the Audrey Muriel Stratford Charitable Trust ~

~ A-MAR, an audiovisual project about the sea with Rita Rosa Monteiro, selected for commision as part of the FluxusMuseum Prize for Experimental Video 2025 ~

~ Postcard Not Sent, a documentary project about WWII POWs ~

His work has previously shown at King’s College London, Somerset House, Asia House, Arnolfini, Colchester Arts Centre, National Trust Sutton Hoo, The Slade, the David Roberts Foundation, the Sidney Cooper Gallery, and Cities and Memory.

'The Wash Is Where They Met And Talked' is a soundscape of The Wash, near King's Lynn, Norfolk, made while researching and location scouting for the film, Into The Mystic.
TO HAVE EVERY CELL SWIRLING, IT COMES OUT OF THE WAY (with Hannah Regel)

'To Have Every Cell Swirling, It Comes Out of The Way' is a soundscape that was exhibited by Ilyd, the Slade, the David Roberts Foundation, and the Sidney Cooper Gallery. Featured in AQNB, Seismograf, and Kunsten.
TRADE AND TRAVEL (with Francesca Allfrey)

Trade and Travel is a playlist that was created for National Trust Sutton Hoo's 'Trade and Travel' summer display and activities, using field recordings of water and recitals of Old English poems.
CLAY JUG (for Pete Kennedy)

Clay Jug is an album composed for performance artist, Pete Kennedy, in conjunction with his Clay Jug project.

Performed at Arnolfini for the Bristol Art Book Event, The Society of Bookbinders’ Book Arts Day, and at the Colchester Arts Centre.
VIETNAM AMBIENCE (for Mirabelle Dominé-Walley)

'Vietnam Ambience' is a soundscape that was constructed during Mirabelle Domine-Walley's Yan-Kit So Award research trip to Vietnam.

It was subsequently exhibited at Asia House.
MIDSUMMER WATER (with Francesca Allfrey)

Midsummer Water is a collection of Old English water words compiled into a Sound Hoard, that was produced for the Museum of Water's Midsummer Water Day at King's College London and Somerset House.
